Lindbrook Shop targeted again by police

An ensuing battle between Lindbrook Shop owner and the Tofield RCMP continue to get the attention of Tofield and area residents. In a more dramatic development on Wednesday, June 9, the Tofield RCMP arrested the shop owner, Hemla Wilson and her older son Logan Wilson in one incident, while the younger son Phillip Wilson was arrested from the Lindbrook Shop in a separate incident.

“We were on Rge. Rd 200 when we saw two unmarked RCMP trucks coming straight toward us,” Wilson said. “We recognized the driver of one of the vehicles as Sgt. Lee Knelsen, who is the in-charge of the Tofield detachment here in town. He used his vehicle to ram into us forcing our truck with us still in it into the garage of a property on that dirt road.
