Highway 14 Regional Water Services Commission upgrades Ryley facility

The Ryley water truck fill has finally got an upgrade, long overdue since 2001. Operated by the Highway 14 Regional Water Services Commission, there are six bulk water truck fills in Beaver County.

“The Ryley truck fill was last upgraded in 2001 but has suffered some damage over the years and has required some enhancements to better serve its customers.,” said Brent Clark, Operations Director. “Rural water users in the Ryley area formed the Bathgate Water Co-op to investigate ways of improving the supply of water to local users.”

According to Clark, the Commission has worked with the Bathgate Water Co-op for several years to find a solution for enhancing water supply.

“The most feasible option was to upgrade the Ryley truck fill,” he explained.
