Tofield and area community brings in record haul via Food Drive
Last Saturday, Sept. 25, Tofield and area community came together to donate 2680.8 lbs of food to the Tofield-Ryley and Area Food Bank (TRAFB). This surpasses the 2018 total, considered the highest ever of 1781.1 lbs.
“We here at the Food Bank are absolutely gobsmacked with the results of this drive!” said Dawn Arnold, TRAFB President. “Our shelves are now full and this abundance will take us through several months of hampers.”
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tofield went around the community gathering the donations from Tofield, Ryley, and surrounding areas. . . . contd.
