Mischiefs, frauds, and thefts keep Tofield RCMP busy

The Tofield RCMP responded to 35 occurrences from Oct. 11 to 17, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were eleven traffic complaints/tickets, seven suspicious person/vehicle complaints, three wellbeing checks, one 911 complaints/false alarms, two motor vehicle collisions and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.

On Oct. 11, Tofield RCMP responded to a residential break and enter in Holden. RCMP arrived on scene and were able to confirm that the person responsible was a family member, although this person was no longer welcome at the residence. RCMP located the person responsible and provided warning of continued behaviour.

On Oct. 11, Tofield RCMP responded to a domestic disturbance in Tofield. RCMP arrived and spoke to all parties involved and found that a verbal argument began between family members although no criminal offence occurred and all parties were separated without further incident.

On Oct. 12, Tofield RCMP responded to a complaint of an unruly passenger on a Via Rail train passenger car travelling through Tofield. RCMP attended and were able to safely remove the passenger without further incident or issue. . . . contd.
