Tofield School’s Grad Cookie Walk returns

After a year’s hiatus in 2020, one of the main fundraisers for Tofield School grads was held on Friday, Dec. 10, the Grad Cookie Walk.

“Students baked and sold cookies with proceeds going to their grad,” said Betty-Lou Roe of the grad committee. “Thank you to all those who supported this event and helped out in any way.”

Melissa Korpan, one of the main organizers, and member of the grad committee was well, added, “We were super excited to have our annual Grad Cookie Walk back this year. Obviously, the pandemic has made fundraisers like this in-person event a bit more complicated to plan.

“We are grateful that we could run the fundraiser. Thanks to everyone who came and supported our grads. The parent-student fundraising committee did a great job organizing the event. Watch our school website and social media for upcoming grad fundraisers.”

Tofield School Principal Janice Muench took this opportunity to wish everyone a happy holiday.

“December is a month that can bring so many emotions forward for people,” she said. “We recognize that some are struggling and we are also aware that others are in a position to give. . . . contd.
