Enforcement and traffic tickets keep RCMP busy
The Tofield RCMP responded to 37 calls for services between Aug. 8 – 14. Included in the calls were 15 Traffic Offences; 1 Liquor Act offence; 2 Mental Health Act responses; 3 Mischief Offences; 2 False Alarms; 2 Disturbance of Peace; 1 Assistance with other Police Agencies; 2 Operation of Motor Vehicle; 4 Road Side Suspensions; 1 Well Being Check; 1 Animal Call; and 1 Uttering Threats.
Between Aug. 7 and 8, the Tofield RCMP conducted traffic enforcement and issued tickets to various offenders under the Traffic Safety Act with a voluntary payment.
On Aug. 8, Tofield RCMP received a complaint of possible Break and Enter into a business in Holden around 12 in the midnight. This incident is still under investigation as it may have been captured on video.
On Aug. 9, Tofield RCMP responded to a call of a disturbance in the form of yelling and swearing in the residential area of Ryley. Patrol made but members were unable to locate source of disturbance. File concluded.
On Aug. 9, Tofield RCMP received a complaint of traffic collision in the parking lot of Uncle Roger’s. Collision reports completed.
On Aug. 9, Tofield RCMP issued traffic enforcement ticket for failing to have a certificate of registration. Voluntary Penalty Option was filed for $324. . . . contd.
