Leery residents attend open house on proposed sulphur fertilizer plant at Ryley

FertilizerPlant-proposal Leery residents attended a public open house June 16 in Ryley to hear about a proposal to build a sulphur-based fertilizer plant in Equity Industrial Park.

Village and county residents had fought off a proposal to have a biomedical waste facility in Equity Industrial Park last year. However, they appear to be adopting a wait and see attitude with this new proposal.

In this play, they really do exist and take over a young girl’s bedroom – but only after she has fallen asleep and to protect her as she sleeps.
