Tofield Satellites took a 2-0 best-of-seven BRHL finals series lead against defending champion Daysland North Stars Sunday evening with a 6-2 victory at Tofield Arena.
Tofield Satellites took the opening game of their Battle River Hockey League best-of-seven final series against Daysland North Stars with a 4-3 win Saturday evening at Daysland Arena.

He was a threat all evening up front for Tofield, but did a nice job applying pressure on Provost on the PKTofield Satellites dominated five-on-five play consistently for three periods, taking an early lead and applying pressure all evening in beating Provost Blades 5-1 and taking a commanding 3-0 Battle River Hockey League (BRHL) series lead at Tofield Arena, Friday.
Tofield seemed to be in little trouble for most of the game, but Satellites’ goalie Christopher Roy made some big stops especially during Provost’s several power plays. Roy was injured in the Sedgewick series during a crease collision and was making his return at Tofield on Friday.
Ryan Olson scored with 1:34 remaining to give the Tofield Satellites their first lead of the game, and then added an empty netter to eliminate the Sedgewick Sabres with a 6-4 win and 3-1 best-of-five series victory at Sedgewick Arena, Friday.
