Poor public support sinks Tofield census effort: Town has to stick with possibly flawed federal numbers now, costing taxpayers
Betting on a low federal census result and hoping its own municipal census would return better and more accurate numbers, Tofield Town Council received lethargic participation from its residents and it ended in a waste of money and even lower numbers.

Former mayor Nabil Chehayeb declares mayoral candidacy
Nabil Chehayeb has thrown his hat into the ring as a mayoral candidate in Tofield. The former mayor of Tofield made his official declaration last Friday night at the Tofield Legion.
So far, his only rival for the mayor’s chair is current Deputy Mayor Deb Dueck. Mayor Harold Conquest has stated he will not run for mayor again, and threw his support behind Dueck.

Ride for Dad hits Tofield – 500 motorcycles line the streets
It was a cold, wet Saturday morning for the 500 or so riders in this year’s Ride for Dad who came through Tofield for the second year running.
