Vandals with fire extinguishers damage vehicles in Tofield
Sometime between Friday evening, May 18 and Saturday morning, May 19, Tofield RCMP report that several vehicles were damaged when unknown persons emptied fire extinguishers in, on and around the vehicles.
The incidents took place in a residential neighbourhood in Tofield.
“At least one vehicle had powder discharged from the fire extinguisher in the gas tank causing damage,” said Sgt. Jim Warren. Plus, “a camper was damaged by having a fire extinguisher discharged inside.
“Police are requesting businesses to check for missing fire extinguishers,” he added.
