More hampers needed this Christmas, more volunteers deliver

Once again, the residents of Tofield, Ryley and area have come through during a time of need for others.

With the number of Christmas hampers up this year, there were also many more volunteers and people who donated time, food and money for the cause.

It all culminated at the Tofield Community Hall last Friday as volunteers prepared 95 hampers for pickup and delivery the following day.

The local Community Christmas Hamper Program Committee has been active for well over a month gathering the foodstuffs and funds needed to make Christmas more joyful for people in the community who are finding it difficult to have Christmas this year on their own.
