Niko’s Dance Studio puts on a dazzling year-end show

It was another year of sterling performance by the students of Niko’s Dance Studio as they showcased their year-end event to the community, and most importantly their families and friends to rounds of applause on Saturday afternoon, May 25 at the Tofield Arena.

Proud of her dancers’ performance, and happy that they were able to receive some huge accolades this year, principal operator Niki Hofer said, “Our most rewarding performance has been the one at the Central Alberta Dance Festival where we had six groups make the Final Showdown. From our little dancers to our seniors, we have talent all across from both studios.”

With 61 solo/duet acts in the first half of the show from 3 to 5:45 p.m., the dancers blazed through their performances with confidence and flair.

The second half of the event consisted of 41 group acts on stage to entertain the crowd.

This year’s theme was ‘Stars of the Future.’

“Preparations for next year begin as soon as the final curtain falls at our year-end show,” said Hofer. . . . contd.
