Ryley’s Class of 2019 graduates

Despite the rain on Friday afternoon, May 24, in Holden, the spirit of the graduands and their families and friends in attendance were one of joy as they celebrated the 13 graduands who walked across the stage of the Paragon Theatre.

The graduation ceremony began at 4:30 p.m. with Ryley School staff member, Brent Anderson being the Master of Ceremonies for the event.

Anderson introduced the 13 graduands, which was followed by Michelle Wipf’s soulful ‘O Canada.’

Battle River School Division (BRSD) trustee, Lyle Albrecht brought greetings from the BRSD board and addressed the crowd, congratulating them on the milestone at the end of their school journey.

There was a short presentation by Perry Story of Ryley Lions Club, after which class valedictorian Tony Shin addressed the crowd. . . . contd.
