Tofield School’s Cookie Walk fundraiser

The Cookie Walk was hosted in the Tofield School Gymnasium, and ran from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13.

“This was my first year being in charge of this fundraiser,” said Marianne Paul. “There were three parents who worked really hard to make the Cookie Walk run as smoothly as possible.”

Paul added that these parents helped make the notes that were sent home in students’ school bags and they created flyers, which were put up all over town. Grade 12 students participating in the Cookie Walk had to bake 12 dozen cookies.

“I think this is a fantastic fundraiser, for grads and the community,” remarked Paul. “I think graduating classes should do the Cookie Walk every year.”
