Beaver Municipal Solutions addresses community concerns with MCC proposal

Beaver Municipal Solutions (BMS) is taking action to respond to community concerns through a new ‘Response to Consultation’ report released on Monday, Feb. 10.

The report follows a series of public information sessions held across the Beaver region last fall about the proposal to transition BMS to a municipally-controlled corporation (MCC) under the operating name of Claystone Waste.

According to Pierre Breau, general manager of BMS, the ‘Response to Consultation’ report details questions and concerns that BMS heard about the MCC proposal and provides information on how community requests are being addressed and acted upon.

“BMS is committed to being a responsive community partner,” Breau said. “This means not just listening to community concerns, but acting on them. We take community feedback seriously and have released this report to provide information back to residents about how their perspectives have been incorporated moving forward.” . . . contd.
