Tofield RCMP intervenes in Ryley family disturbance

The Tofield RCMP responded to a total of 32 calls for service last week, four of which were traffic collisions.

On Monday, Feb. 10, Tofield RCMP were dispatched to a residence on Beaverhill Drive in response to suspicious people looking to break into the house. Members attended and did not find any evidence of a break in. The male at the residence was advised.

On Thursday, Feb. 13, members were dispatched to a family disturbance in the town of Ryley. The parties involved were separated and sent home. No further complaints received.

During the early morning hours of Friday, Feb. 14, members were called out to a family disturbance on 54 Ave. & 51 St. in Tofield. An intoxicated male in the house damaged the inside and threatened to burn the house down. Police attended but the male had fled the scene. This investigation is ongoing. . . . contd.
