A fundraising event slated to bring in some support for the Tofield Handibus, the evening kept up to its hype, raising in the excess of $5,000 after expenses.

Tofield first responders are introduced first before the game on Thursday evening.

“We don’t have the exact number yet, but it was a huge success!” said Jim Warren, President of the Tofield Handibus Society. “All proceeds will be going towards the operational and maintenance costs of the bus, which has been a part of the community for a very long time; it’s an old bus.”

Tofield Peewee 2 Aiden Bremner was selected by a draw to play on the Critters team.
