Tofield RCMP emphasize on self-isolation

The Tofield RCMP responded to 46 occurrences from July 12 to 19, including one false alarm, two accidental 911 calls, eight traffic complaints and one Motor Vehicle Collision. The K-Division Traffic Unit issued 22 violation tickets for various traffic offences.

On July 12, Tofield RCMP received a complaint of a theft of a Blue Pelican Kayak near Amisk Creek at Range Road 182 and HWY 14. The owner reported that she had pulled the kayak onto the bank and when she returned a short while later the kayak and its contents were gone.

Also on July 12, Tofield RCMP received a complaint from a camper at the Ryley Campground that a grey Jeep Grand Cherokee had concealed its plate and the driver was taking recyclables from the garbage. Patrol made however the vehicle was not located.

On July 13, the owner of an abandoned farm site near Ryley reported damage to an outbuilding door. Nothing was missing from the site. . . . contd.
