RCMP: Stolen SUV slams into semi, charges pending
The Tofield RCMP responded to 55 occurrences this past week including one false alarm, four traffic complaints, and two motor vehicle collisions. The K Division Traffic Unit along with Tofield RCMP members issued 32 violation tickets for various traffic offences.
On Aug. 11, a business in Tofield reported that it had been broken into over the weekend and various welding tools and equipment were taken. Two male suspects were observed on video surveillance. Matter is still under investigation.
On Aug. 11, a resident from Tofield reported an abandoned bicycle behind the Town shop. Anyone who is missing their bike is asked to contact the Tofield detachment to determine if it belongs to you. . . . contd.
