Disputes and mischief keep Tofield RCMP busy

The Tofield RCMP responded to 67 occurrences from Aug. 18 to 24, including one false alarm, four traffic complaints, and four motor vehicle collisions. The K Division Traffic Unit along with Tofield RCMP members issued 40 violation tickets for various traffic offences.

On Aug. 18 at 6 p.m., a resident of Tofield attended the detachment to report a gravel truck had damaged their fence when travelling down the back alley. Motor vehicle collision report was completed. At 8 p.m., several rural residents of southern Beaver County were reporting multiple ongoing gunshots being fired. RCMP attended the area and confirmed the source of the gunfire was the Sherwood Park Fish & Game Association – Firing Range. . . . contd.
