Motor vehicle collision in Tofield, driver transported via EMS to Tofield Health Centre

The Tofield RCMP responded to 33 occurrences from April 5 to 11, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were 11 traffic complaints/tickets, one false alarm, two traffic collisions, three suspicious persons/vehicle complaints and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.

On April 5, Tofield RCMP performed a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle in Beaver County. RCMP found that the plate on the vehicle was stolen and there were numerous occupants inside the vehicle. RCMP arrested all occupants and in the process charged Larry Dion ROSCOE, of NFA with the following: 1) Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, contrary to Section 355(b) of the Criminal Code; 2) Fail to comply with release order, contrary to Section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code x 3; 3) Drive motor vehicle while unauthorized, contrary to Section 94(2) of the Traffic Safety Act; 4) Drive uninsured motor vehicle on highway, contrary to Section 54(1)(a) of the Traffic Safety Act.

Larry Dion Roscoe was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear on the above charges via CCTV on April 6. This file is still under investigation.
