Tofield RCMP attend to multiple assault complaints

The Tofield RCMP responded to 71 occurrences from Oct. 25 to 31, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were 30 traffic complaints/tickets, 13 suspicious person/vehicle complaints, five wellbeing checks, three 911 complaints/false alarms, four motor vehicle collisions and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.

On Oct. 25, Tofield RCMP responded to a suspicious person/vehicle complaint in Holden. RCMP spoke to the complainant who advised that two persons were attempting to break into their commercial property. The complainant provided a description of an older model GMC Sierra truck. This file is still under investigation.

On Oct. 25, Tofield RCMP responded to a theft of truck and trailer in Tofield. RCMP arrived and complainant stated that he had left his 2006 Chevrolet truck and a modified flat-deck trailer unoccupied for a short period of time and was subsequently stolen. On Oct. 31, the truck was located in Vegreville and a lone occupant was arrested by Vegreville RCMP. This file is still under investigation.
