While PM Trudeau is out of country, a very delicate situation is at the point of igniting the separatist movement in Alberta even worse than the election campaign.

The Frontier Oil Sands Mine Project (or Tech Mine because it is proposed by Tech Resources) is a $20.6 billion operation slated for an area one hour north of Fort McMurray and has passed all government regulations including environ- mental and aboriginal.

The project is estimated to employ roughly 7,000 workers during construction and 2,500 while operating.

Employment will mostly be Albertans, but workers and supplies will realistically come from across Canada. The project would create billions in government tax revenue including carbon tax.

At capacity, the mine is estimated to be able to produce 260,000 barrels of bitumen every day and the proposed mine has already received approval from a federal-provincial bureaucratic panel which stated it is in the public interest to proceed. . . . contd.
