EDITORIAL: News flash for fringe British Columbians
Hey British Columbia, news flash: Albertans are your neighbours and fellow Canadians. We tend to visit your province in the summer due more to osmosis, rather than trying to bring you the Zombie Apocalypse. Plus Albertans own a great deal of property in B.C. and have a right as a Canadian to be there.
Due to Covid-19 fears, a certain nutty fringe group of B.C. residents have been trying to intimidate Albertans travelling to B.C. on holidays by leaving “Go Home” signs on vehicle windows, and vandalizing Alberta vehicles.
The latest dangerous, stupid, and potentially murderous tactic is loosening lug nuts on Alberta vehicle tire rims.
Just last week a nurse and her three children travelling home to Alberta across the Rockies, had her front passenger wheel go rolling off into the ditch . . . contd.
