Tofield RCMP responds to stolen trailer complaint in Holden

The Tofield RCMP responded to 47 occurrences from March 22 to 28, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were 19 traffic complaints/tickets, three false alarms, two traffic collision, four suspicious persons/vehicle complaints and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.

On March 22, Tofield RCMP responded to a complaint concerning a business operating in Beaver County that was not compliant with the Alberta Public Health Act and regulations regarding Covid-19 health and safety protocols in respect to the safety of its employees. Tofield RCMP attended along with inspectors from Occupational Health and Safety and were unable to conduct an inspection of the property. This file is still under investigation.

On March 23, Tofield RCMP responded to a theft of gasoline complaint in in Tofield. RCMP attended and found that a hole was drilled into the gas tank of their vehicle and gasoline was subsequently stolen. This file is still under investigation.

On March 23, Tofield RCMP responded to an injured dog complaint in Beaver County. RCMP attended and found that a blue healer was injured and unable to move. RCMP transported the dog to a local veterinarian to receive medical attention and in hopes of locating the dog’s owner(s).
