Assault complaints keep Tofield RCMP busy
The Tofield RCMP responded to 44 occurrences from Nov. 15, to 21, 2021 (inclusive). Also included in these calls for service were six traffic complaints/tickets, eleven suspicious person/vehicle complaints, three wellbeing checks, two 911 complaints/false alarms, seven motor vehicle collision and traffic enforcement provided by the K Division Traffic Unit.
On Nov. 16, Tofield RCMP responded to an assault complaint in Tofield. Tofield RCMP attended and spoke to the complainant who advised that a verbal argument started between their neighbour regarding snow removal and then turned into a physical argument. The parties were separated and warned about their behaviour.
