Sunshine Villa activities engage residents throughout the year

Whether it’s a world event, or just at the provincial level, or even personal, Sunshine Villa’s Julie Ishida, activity coordinator keeps residents busy and engaged through various interesting and playful ways.

In January, on the last Monday, in celebration of World Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day, Ishida came up with activities.

“Upon learning that there is a designated day to appreciate bubble wrap, I thought this could be a fun and interesting day to celebrate,” Ishida said. “Residents went over a quiz about the invention of bubble wrap and it’s evolution to the product that we are familiar with today.
