Tofield Ag Society hosts its biggest fundraiser

The Tofield Ag Society is hosting one of the biggest fundraisers in the history of its operation to raise money for the replacement of the arena floor.

In partnership with the Town of Tofield, the Ag Society hopes to raise as much as possible for this vital million-dollar project, which will help keep the multi-use facility running seamlessly for various sports, such as hockey, skating, and other activities.

“This will be our most important fundraiser since the building of the facility in 1972,” said Dave Barrecloth, Tofield Ag Society President. “After 50 years the floor and pipes that complete the refrigeration for this facility are in need of replacement. Without being able to utilize this facility for winter activities it creates a huge void; and the community and outlying areas would need to seek other alternatives for skating activities if we don’t reach our target.
